Take your trombone to Slide Factory and participate in one of the workshops on Saturday. The workshops are given by professional teachers and members of the New Trombone Collective. The workshops are suitable for participants of all levels and ages.
There are three kinds of workshops classical/jazz:
1.
Individual lesson
Prepare a piece and attend an individual
lesson during the festival. The piece for example can be
an etude, a recital piece or a solo work. You can ask all
your questions on embouchure, slide technique and breathing
during this lesson.
2.
Ensemble coaching
Are you a member of a trombone quartet, trio, or other ensemble? Come to Slide
Factory with your whole ensemble and play a piece from
your repertoire. During this workshop you will get useful
tips on your ensemble, balance, sound, etc.
3.
Accompanied ensemble
If you rather do not play alone and you do not have an ensemble then you can
participate in accompanied ensemble. In an ensemble that
will be formed on the spot with the other participants,
you play a couple of nice pieces conducted by a teacher.

Registration and costs
You can register for the workshop of your choice during
the festival at the festival desk. You can only attend
a workshop if you have a festival pass or a day-ticket.
