Join and participate!
Slide Factory gladly wants to share its enthusiasm and expertise with amateur trombonists.
At various places in the Netherlands and Belgium there will be workshops; trombonists of all levels can participate. Jos Jansen, who is a bass trombonist of the Marine Band of the Royal Netherlands Navy together with a selection of the New Trombone Collective, will be the instructors during the regional workshops.

The workshops will be finalised with the
elaboration during Slide Factory. A unique piece by Jan Bosveld
called Whimsical Winds will be played during the festival.
This piece was especially composed for Slide Factory 2007 (click
here to download the piece of music). Saturday afternoon
of May 5th all trombonists can participate in the outdoor
spectacle at the Schouwburgplein in Rotterdam. All those trombonists
together will be the Dutch Trombone Choir!

Costs
The costs for participation in one of the regional workshops: 15 EURO, to be paid in advance. You will receive the specifications for the payment within a few days after you have applied. |
